SADIE: Hey guys, this is Sadie.

KIWI: And this is Kiwi.

SADIE: We're here from Paramore.org with Hayley, Jeremy, and Josh from Paramore. Kiwi, do you want to get us started?

KIWI: Sure, I definitely will. We have questions lined up from different fans and the first question is from this awesome and extravagant girl Hayley, and she wants to know what your inital reaction to getting signed to Fueled By Ramen was.

HAYLEY: I would say that we were all really excited. It didn't really feel, um, it wasn't real to us for a while, you know? It's such a huge thing. This is a label that The Academy Is is on, Fall Out Boy, we were really excited about it.

SADIE: The next question is from Hayley again, and she wants to know if the stickers on your microphones are to prevent theft from other bands?

JEREMY: not necessarily theft, but just confusion I guess.

SADIE: Colin wants to know, out of all the lesser known bands you've done shows with in the past couple of months, who do you think has the most promise?

HAYLEY: Umm...

JEREMY: Either My American Heart or So They Say, probably.

KIWI: A different Courtney wants to know, out of all the touring that you guys have done, which was your favorite tour, and why?

JEREMY: Probably the Simple Plan Tour.

KIWI: Because that was a big one?

JEREMY: It was just um, the first huge tour we've done and experienced and Simple Plan treated us so well. It was fun to like, experience it. It was different for us playing for thousands of people but yeah, it was great.

SADIE: Celsey wants to know, when you guys were kids, what were some of your favorite TV shows?

HAYLEY: My favorite show was... what was the show that Alf was in? Was it called Alf? Okay, Alf. That was my favorite.

JEREMY: Boy Meets World.

KIWI: Nicole knows that all of you are big fans of Underoath, and that you can't go an interview without mentioning them, but she wonders what your favorite Underoath song is.

JOSH: It's dangerous business walking out your front door.

SADIE: Trish wants to know that, out of all the places you guys have been at, what city do you think has the most energy, and is the most fun to play at?

JOSH: Either New York or LA. They're incredible. Can't really compare them.

KIWI: Tiffany wants to know what you guys usually do in the van while you're on the road.

HAYLEY: A lot of times we watch movies... I'm sorry I have crackers in my mouth. Sometimes we watch movies, or read books. We read a ton. And we just talk. We talk a lot.

KIWI: What are some of your favorite movies and books?

HAYLEY: Well, a lot of us just got done reading The Perks To Being A Wallflower. It's amazing. Josh is reading The Lovely Bones right now. He's reading that and he can't put it down, it's so funny. Also The Five People You Meet In Heaven.

SADIE: Ben wants to know why are you guys always wearing each others shirts?

JEREMY: We just like to share. We'll be like cool shirt, hey you wanna wear that, okay cool! The get dirty and whoever has extra shirts which is most likely me and Josh, which is why Hayley always takes mine because she makes them all dirty.

KIWI: Sadie wants to know if you guys are really excited to go overseas for the first time?

JEREMY: We are extremely excited.

SADIE: We know that the next single is going to be Emergency, and we were all wondering what the video is going to be like, and what the concept is going to be?

JOSH: We aren't sure right now. We're actually postponed for filming the video because we're still trying to come up with the best treatment for the video, so we're waiting on that. So um, we might give you some hints in the future.

KIWI: Now we have individual questions that are directed toward one person so we're going to kind of switch them off. The first question is for Hayley and Tiffany is wondering if you've beaten Josh in Tetris yet?

HAYLEY: No! He's got... what's your high score Josh? His high score is 119,000!

KIWI: Are you kidding me?

HAYLEY: No! And my high score is, like, 50,000 and that's it.

SADIE: This question is for Jeremy and Hayley wants to know what you think of the fan sites that are for the band and if it's weird seeing yourself all over the internet.

JEREMY: Actually, I personally enjoy them. I go on them very, very often. I enjoy it. I think it's like the coolest thing in the world because you guys are basically making like a photo album of our lives. And I can't... When we're up on stage we can't take pictures of ourselves, you know what I'm sayin?

SADIE: And, of course, Paramore.org is your favorite, right!

JEREMY: You guys are like, I can't really explain it, you're a big part of our lives.

KIWI: This question is for you, Josh. Jenna wonders if you could set up a dream concert for yourself, who would play there, and where would it be?

JOSH: Where would it be? Okay, um. Man. Probably Madison Square Garden with U2, Death Cab For Cutie, and Failure.

SADIE: This question is for Hayley. Lindsay wants to know, if your house caught on fire, what three items would you choose to save, assuming that your family and pets and everyone is safe?

HAYLEY: I would definitely get my computer. Um, and then, um. Well, I don't really have much. I guess my MAC, and maybe one of my pillows, and my money box.

KIWI: Jeremy, Hayley wants to know, when you first heard All We Know Is Falling, what was your initial reaction, considering All We Know is about you?

JEREMY: Well, at first I really didn't know. Like, I was listening and I was like do you guys think this is about me? But I had no idea. Like, when Josh actually wrote that song, before the lyrics were there, in my living room he was showing me and we were jamming on it and I was like hey dude I remember this song! Then I heard the lyrics and I was like, holy crap it kind of sounds like this is aiming towards me. And I didn't know if it was in a good way or a bad way, but it was pretty, uh... I liked it.

SADIE: Josh, this kind of goes back to something that you've already said. Hayley wants to know that, okay, you're walking down the street and you see Bono from U2. What do you say to him, and do you mention what you said about U2's age when you talk to him?

JOSH: Well if I saw Bono walking down the street I would probably run the opposite direction! I wouldn't talk to him. He probably gets stopped like a thousand times a day for pictures and stuff so I wouldn't want to bug him.

SADIE: Do you guys get stopped a lot just when you're walking around on the street, not when you're home, just out and about?

JOSH: We rarely get stopped. Once we've sold, like, thousands and billions of records then maybe we will.

KIWI: Hayley, Jenna wants to know how did you end up singing on October Fall's CD?

HAYLEY: Um, those guys were recording their record with Mike Green, who recorded a lot of our record, and when they got in the studio they needed a girl to do that certain part in the song, and so I kind of randomly got a phone call from Mike or, actually I think one of our managers got a random phone call from Mike and they're like hey, we want to know if Hayley is interested in singing on our record for this band that's on Fueled By Ramen. And I mean I really didn't even need to know what band it was, because I knew that they were on Fueled By Ramen and it's like a family, you know? I'm like okay, yep. The guys all thought it was a great idea and so we did it and it was really fun. I actually did it out of our old tour manager's apartment in New York. Like, I wasn't even at the studio.

KIWI: Wow.

HAYLEY: It was kind of weird but it was great, I'm glad I did it.

SADIE: Okay, for Jeremy, Tiffany wants to know what is your favorite kind of ice cream?

JEREMY: I don't like a whole lot of ice cream but my favorite comes from a place called Cold Stone Creamery. I don't know if you guys have that there or not. I get banana and I have tons and tons of gummy bears on it.

KIWI: Alright, Josh, Hayley wants to know what's the most embarassing thing Zac did as a kid? Since he isn't here he can't defend himself, so.

SADIE: Yeah, just go crazy.

JOSH: Well one time when he was still in diapers we walked up to him I was just walking through the house and I looked at him, and he had his hands up against the wall. He was pushing really hard and I was like, "What are you doing?!" He was like, "Go away, I'm pooping!" I was just watching him push up against the wall...

KIWI: Do you think he has any embarassing stories about you as a kid?

JOSH: No, I was a perfect child.

SADIE: Oh, I'm sure.

JOSH: One time that I peed on the wall 'cause I was mad at my mom.

KIWI: You peed on the wall because you were mad at your mom?

JOSH: I was really little, cut me some slack!

SADIE: When you guys are home, what are some of your favorite things to do? Hayley, I know you've said you like to go into downtown Franklin with your sisters but what do you guys like to do for fun with your friends back home?

JEREMY: We love to go to the park and play Frisbee.

HAYLEY: Weeee! We're actually home right now and like today, it's so gorgeous here, it's like eighty degrees. We just do normal stuff like, hanging out, going to starbucks, getting coffee. I mean, it's just, yeah. We have fun.

SADIE: We know that you're doing the tour with Nightmare Of You and The Rocket Summer, but what are your plans for after that? Is there anybody you specifically want to tour with?

JOSH: We really want to tour with The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Cute Is What We Aim For.

KIWI: When you're on the road, is there one song that you can think of that you can have on repeat for a long time?

HAYLEY: Oh wait, yeah, Josh has one. Hold on. Oh wait, I'm going to tell you mine first. I lately, I used to not listen to much music on the road, but I did this past time and I kept listening to Pictures Of You by The Cure. That song is brilliant. And it's like seven minutes long so if you put it on repeat it's perfect to sleep to because it's like... forever. Yeah, here's Josh.

JOSH: What I listen to is Brothers On A Hotel Bed by Death Cab For Cutie. It makes sooooo happy.

KIWI: Are there any songs that you guys are embarrassed to like?

SADIE: What's that one album or that one song we could find on your iPod or something that you have that you would just be completely embarrassed about?

KIWI: And not Rainbow stuff.

JOSH: People make fun of me 'cause I love Rascal Flatts.

KIWI: Hey, I've seen Rascal Flatts. They came here and it wasn't that bad.

JOSH: Don't make fun of me.

KIWI: I won't!

JOSH: No, you were, you were just making fun of me!

KIWI: No, I really wasn't!

SADIE: I am just not going to say anything. Um, Hayley, I know you get this question a lot, but do you ever get lonely or miss some of your girl friends while you're on the road since you're around four horrible guys all the time?

JEREMY: Hey, what're you talking about!

HAYLEY: No, not really because I only have like two or three friends outside of bands really and they're girls and I love them but it's not like, well, the guys are my best friends so when we're out on the road it all just feels normal. We have a girl who would sell merch for us, one of my best friends, a girl named Heather and she's really cool and I love hanging out with her. She's really cool.

SADIE: Is it more exciting doing a show like the Warped Tour or the Bamboozle rather than just doing a show where it's just you and a couple other bands?

JEREMY: Sometimes it's better, well, I don't know, it's kind of weird because when you're playing venues you really miss the Warped Tour so whenever you're playing Warped Tour it's really hot and by the end of the Warped Tour you really, really miss playing shows in venues and stuff.

SADIE: You guys have been doing, like, non-stop touring lately.

JEREMY: Yeah, we're so ready for Warped Tour. We're really pumped. It's so much fun because you get to hang out with a lot of bands and a lot of friends that you meet out on the road and stuff like everyday, you know?

SADIE: Yeah. Josh, who are you most excited to see on Warped Tour? What band?

JOSH: Underoath! Seriously, Underoath, are you making fun of me again?

SADIE: I was just expecting you to say some Rainbow stuff but you know, it's okay!

JOSH: Some Rainbow stuff, yeeeah.

KIWI: Josh, I must ask, how do Rainbow songs come together? Because I listen to them and I just wonder what goes on, I really do.

JOSH: Zac and our other friend Zack sit down at a computer and they're like, Josh, let's make Rainbow songs. And one of us will come up with an electronic beat or take one from a garage band, on a MAC, and we'll be like what's the cheesiest most chees..iest.. is cheesiest a word?

SADIE: You can make it a word.

JOSH: Okay. We came up with the most cheesiest, the most cheesiest music and just sing.

KIWI: Are most of the words just freestyle? You just start recording and you just let it go?

JOSH: Basically, that's exactly what we do.

SADIE: What inspired you guys to start a band?

JOSH: Rainbow or Paramore?

SADIE: Rainbow! No, Paramore.

JOSH: We just love listening to music and I know all of us did. We were like, we should make a band. We never really thought we actually get signed or anything really, we were just doing it because we loved it. And we still love it.

SADIE: How were you initially signed? Did you send in a demo, or did somebody find you?

HAYLEY: We had management out of Nashville, the first management we ever had, and basically he knew these other managers out of Florida, and they knew John Janick so once we had recorded some demos, um, they sent them to Janick and Janick liked them a lot so we went and played some shows for them and it worked out perfectly. It was really cool.

KIWI: Josh, I have another really random question for you. I was looking at Myspace the other day, and I saw another Myspace that was like, Zac and Josh, and I think it was some kind of different music that you and Zac play together. How did that come about?

JOSH: That song, Zac made that myspace but he made a song on the computer with piano and stuff and asked me to come play guitar on it and stuff and so he put it up on myspace and it's not that great of a song, but. It's not that great of a song, it's the same thing over and over again but hey, it's okay.

SADIE: Hayley, what do you get inspiration from to write songs? Is it listening to other songs or going to a specific place?

HAYLEY: Um, really just from life, you know? A lot of our songs tend to be about love or whatever but I don't think that's what all of our songs are about specifically. I think that's just the way I put them so that everyone can relate to them. Our songs are just about life and things that normal people go through all the time. Things that me and my friends go through that I just want to write about and get out of my head.

KIWI: Are your friends able to tell when you've written a song about them or something that you guys have gone through?

HAYLEY: Yeah, especially all the ones about Jeremy!

KIWI: Is "My Heart" partly about Jeremy or is that about someone else?

HAYLEY: No, I mean, that's more of like a general type of song about kind of feeling hopeless and asking about your life, trying to find answers, you know what I'm saying?

SADIE: This is definitely the biggest question that we're going to ask, so you have to listen. Alright, Britney Spears, or Christina Aguilera?

ALL: Christina Aguilera!

SADIE: Backstreet Boys, or NSYNC?

ALL: NSYNC!

SADIE: Coke or Pepsi?

JEREMY: Pepsi!

HAYLEY: I drink water!

KIWI: Eminem or 50 Cent?

ALL: Eminem!

JEREMY: Keep on going.

SADIE: Night or day?

ALL: Night!

KIWI: Doug or Pete and Pete?

JOSH: Afternoon.

SADIE: Patrick Stump or Peter Wentz?

JOSH: Patrick Wentz!

KIWI: Do you guys still talk to William Beckett?

HAYLEY: We haven't talked to him in a long time but we'll see him on Warped Tour. We miss those guys a lot.

SADIE: Do you think you'll tour with them again?

HAYLEY: I really hope so. They've been so busy getting all huge and famous, you know?

SADIE: That'll be you some day, though. Maybe William Beckett will be trying to get in touch with you and you'll be like you know what William, we're just too busy for you.

JOSH: Yeah right.

HAYLEY: We just haven't talked to him in a while.

KIWI: Have you met any of the other Fueled By Ramen bands in person like Panic or The Hush Sound or Forgive Durden?

JOSH: We've met The Hush Sound and Cute Is What We Aim For. They're all really nice people.

SADIE: What's one of your personal belongings that you have to have with you when you're on tour?

JEREMY: Computers.

JOSH: Computers for all of us.

JEREMY: So we can go to your web page!

KIWI: What's your favorite computer games out of the ones that come on the computer?

HAYLEY: I like, if I'm on my MAC I like Tetris but if I'm on a PC I like Solitaire.

SADIE: Hayley, have you gotten a chance to play Rock 'n Rocket on a Sidekick again?

JEREMY: I love that game.

HAYLEY: That game is amazing!

SADIE: I'm going to try and beat your high score and meanwhile I want you to try to beat Josh's high tetris score because he can't be the champion forever.

JOSH: Oh yes I can.

SADIE: I'm going to be interviewing you guys at Bamboozle, too, so I'll see you then.

JEREMY: Oh, cool. Well thanks for interviewing us, and sorry if we were terrible.

KIWI: Thank you guys for taking the time out to do this, it was really cool.

SADIE: Yeah, it was really nice of you.

JOSH: You were making fun of me!

KIWI: Oh, hey. Go listen to some more Rascal Flatts.

SADIE: Hey, if there's anything we were really making fun of, it was the whole Rainbow thing.

JOSH: Hey, go do some more interviews.

KIWI: Well Josh you need to go post that new Rainbow song, as I've heard it's supposed to be up today.

JOSH: Rainbow's making me famous and you guys are just mad.

KIWI: Oh, I'm jealous.

SADIE: I'm so jealous. That's my goal in life, to become a Rainbow groupie. I'm just going to follow you around everywhere.

JOSH: Oh yeah, I know, I know.

SADIE: Listen to that ego.

KIWI: Well thank you guys for doing this.

SADIE: Yeah, it was really nice of you to take the time out to do it.

JEREMY: No problem.

SADIE: And I expect that you're going to run to Paramore.org in a day or so and listen to how great it sounds.

JEREMY: Wait, this is going to be replayed?

SADIE: Yeah.

JEREMY: Oh, sweet. Yeah, we'll be there.
