Paramore updates their LJ with one of the most importants ones yet
heeyyy.
well it's been since the video update and it's time that you heard from us.
sorry to keep ya waiting.just to let you guys know, we're sort of in the middle of this whole process.
josh is doing some guitar tracks and hopefully i'll be starting vocals sometime this week.
with every day we get more and more excited about it all.alright, so i wanna get a little bit personal for a second... i have nothing to do anyhow, so here goes nothing.
sometimes i'm better at hiding behind smiles than other times. you know what that feels like?
most of the songs goin on this record were written in the last few months of 2006 after we got back from England. we were sort of on a high. we hadn't really been home in a while and home was like... another day sheet, another shirt out of the suitcase, another cup of scorching hot tea...another show... just a different type of show. when i got back... i just realized a lot about myself. i spent a lot of time with my thoughts - by myself. it really was amusing, to me, to think of all that we've been through and how many great things we've had the opportunity to do, the people we've met... and then to realize... "i'm home and i'm still the same little ol' me." i guess, before it all started, i thought that going off on tour and being semi-successful would make me forget it all. anything that bothered me would just disappear and i'd come home and sleep peacefully in my own bed. well, that's not really how it happened. everything i left i came back to. some things had changed but it was more like growth than change. i felt the same feelings... a lot of the same pains... none of it had disappeared. it forced me to learn a lot about life and the way i've approached it as opposed to other ways i could've approached it, if i'd only looked at things from different angles. the guys have gone through a lot of similar things since coming home. we've been through a lot together and learned a lot from each other. i think what i have learned most is that... i'll never be perfect. i'm not talking about just looks or things like that... but in every part of life... i'll always be flawed. i'm sure a lot of girls feel that way too and i know that dudes do cause i live with a bunch of em. the greatest feeling is knowing that i don't have to be right. i've been ashamed and am still ashamed of things i've felt. hate. jealousy. lust. fear. pride. self consciousness. pure anger. pity. just plain hurt. but instead of hiding it all... i feel like i need to talk about it. you might hear a lot of this on the record - more detailed in some songs than others. it's important to us that fans of ours know that's how it's going to be before anybody else. you guys knew us first... so... you'll know a little more of us first, now ;-)to sum this all up...
everyone in this band has been through painful, shameful times... some of which have left scars.
but we feel like that's okay
cause they make us who we are.

LJ update
Well guys,
it's that time again... have you seen our first ever WEBISODE yet? i believe that our good friend Adam (you may know him as fueledbyadam) has posted the webisode on our official site, https://www.paramore.net so if you haven't seen it stop freakin reading this and GO CHECK IT OUT, NOW!!! There really isn't much to say that's not in the video but make sure you let us know your thoughts on it and keep an eye out for new webisodes in the upcoming weeks! Cause you and us... we're gonna make this record together :-DAlso, be sure to pick up Bayside's new record, The Walking Wounded on Tuesday... we toured with those guys a while back and we'll be hookin up with them again this summer on the WARPED TOUR!!! oh yeah, it's gonna be delicous.

Josh updated the LJ
Hey guys this is Josh, I know it has been a while since you've heard from me or anyone else for that matter, so please forgive us. We've been EXTREMELY busy writing a new record for ya'll. Right now we are in the lovely city of Clevend about to head over to AP magazine headqaurters to hang out and do a few interviews. Then we are going to meet up with our good friend Steven from a little show called "Steven's Untitled Rock Show" to talk about our show tonight at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! How sweet is that?! Incase some of ya'll don't know about the show, Hayley & I will be performing acoustically at the Rock Hall for about 30 minutes. We're pretty stoked about it... I mean how many bands like us get to play at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!!! Pretty sick if you ask me! We haven't played a show in a while now so if we screw up just laugh with us ha!
Anyways, just so ya'll know whats up next for us I will give you our basic plans for the next couple of months. We fly back to NJ tomorrow and zac will start recording drum tracks on monday! WOO HOO! It's going to be great.. he's gotten even better. He's a "monster" as David Bendeth would say, haha. Then after that we record bass, guitars, and last but not least....the vocals (and other various instruments). Then we will have a new album for you guys. I can't wait for ya'll to hear it.. the songs SO great! I don't really know if I'm allowed to say that cause I'm in the band but I dont care.
Well, I have to go cause we are leaving in like two minutes and I have to get ready!!! We miss you all SOO much! Thank you for all that you guys do for us! We can't wait to hang with you guys again! See you guys in April ;)

Hayley updates the LJ
oh my goodness!
thank you guys so much for all the birthday wishes and sweet letters... they meant a lot.
i had a really laid back party. the dudes came over and a few of our friends - including ajax... as always! - were there to hang out and eat sushi and chips and dip. (yeah, i know those foods don't go together in theory but it was great, i swear). basically, eighteen was a great excuse to hang out with everyone i love at the same time.the time to make our sophomore record is almost here. we're getting ready to leave for jersey in a little more than a few days. kinda hard to believe, right? i think the songs are just about ready to lay down and we're really happy with them. it's gonna be really fun playing them and even more fun when we can play them for you guys.
anways, we wanna wish all you guys a happy happy new year. hope any resolutions you make you can keep - but i mean, if you can't then don't be too disappointed cause if we were perfect what would be the point?

sorry this is so short! we'll be keeping you guys updated about every little thing that's goin on with us.
